Fulton County Cyber Incident Response Update for March 4, 2023

Fulton County departments continue to work to restore systems after a recent cybersecurity incident. Teams have made significant process in the restoration process.

We appreciate the community’s continued patience as we work to restore services and investigate this incident.

SERVICE UPDATES

Fulton County has been working continuously to restore services. We have made significant progress in this effort. Services are being restored on a rolling basis.

Key updates include:

• Fulton County water billing has been restored and customers can make online payments.
• GIS mapping functionality has been restored.
• The elections process has not been affected by this incident. Voters may continue to participate in early voting and Election Day voting as normal.
• Most Fulton County phones are working normally. If you have difficulty reaching any office, please check our alternate contact list or contact customer service at 404-612-4000. Email has not been affected by this outage. Fulton County facilities are open during their normal business hours.
• Residents can log on to www.fultoncountyga.gov/cyberresponse for updates

TAX COMMISSIONER / BOARD OF ASSESSORS / BOARDS OF EQUALIZATION
Property owners may submit homestead exemption applications online or in person at fultonassessor.org
• Property tax payment may be made by check in the offices of the Tax Commissioner’s office. Online payments are not available at this time.
• Boards of Equalization hearings are continuing as scheduled.

JUSTICE SYSTEM

The Fulton County Justice system is operational. As a result, many processes are taking place using backup systems.

• Anyone who has received a court summons should appear and bring their summons with them.
• Jurors should respond to any Jury Summons. Check the Juror information page for updates at https://fultoncourt.org/jurors
• First appearance hearings are taking place in person at the Fulton County Jail.
