FY 2021 NOFO Public Posting

The GA-502 Fulton County Continuum of Care Board has concluded the local application process under the FY2021 US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Notice of Funding Opportunity program competition.  The process resulted in the approval to submit the FY 2021 NOFO on behalf of the GA-502 Fulton County Continuum of Care Board to fund 11 projects for $2,660,885.

Public Review and Comments
The proposed plan changes are available for public review and comment from November 8, 2021, to November 13, 2021, per the expedited public comment process permitted by HUD.

Fulton County Opens Local Process for the FY2021 Homeless Notice of Funding Opportunity

Continuum of Care Project Applications are due Monday, October 18, 2021 at 5 p.m. The Fulton County Government through its Department of Community Development, as the Collaborative Applicant for the GA-502 Fulton County Continuum of Care (CoC) has released the FY2021 Fulton County Application for New and Renewal Projects. The Fulton County 502 Continuum of Care is governed by a 15 member Board, 7 of which are appointed for 2-year terms by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners.

The Continuum of Care (CoC) Program is designed ;

  • To promote community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness.
  • Provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers, and State and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused to homeless individuals, families, and communities by homelessness
  • Promote access to and effect utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families
  • Optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

The Continuum of Care is governed by the CoC Board as defined in the HEARTH Act Interim Rule
