Fulton County Kicks Off Major Expansion of Solar Panel Installations at County Facilities

Fulton County will a host a ceremony at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Evelyn G. Lowery Library at Cascade (3665 Cascade Road SW, Atlanta) to celebrate the launch of a new solar panel installation. 

This event marks one of the first of 46 planned installations across the county as part of a major expansion of Fulton County's sustainability program, which is projected to save taxpayers an estimated $2.4 million over 20 years. The program is being implemented in partnership with Cherry Street Energy, Inc.
