Upon request by a candidate and under the authority of O.C.G.A. 21-2-495, the Secretary of State has ordered a recount of the August 26, 2025, Senate District 21 Special Election. Notice is hereby given that the recount will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2025.
The recount will continue until completed. The recount is to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2025.

The recount is open to the public and will be conducted at the:

Pursuant to O.C.G.A §21-2-374 (b) and O.C.G.A §21-2-379.25(c) notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy (L&A) testing of the voting equipment to be used in the September 23, 2025, Special Runoff Election, will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025.
L&A will continue daily from approximately 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will continue day to day until completed. The estimated completion date is September 20, 2025. You may contact our main office number to be advised of any L&A daily time schedule adjustments and/or if L&A has concluded at 404-612-7020.

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §21-2-386(a)(2)(A) notice is hereby given that the processing and scanning of Absentee Ballots for the September 23, 2025, Special Runoff Election for State Senate, District 21 will commence on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 8 a.m. at the following location:

Early processing will continue daily from approximately 9am to 5 pm and will continue day to day until completed. The completion date is September 25, 2025, Friday at 5pm. You may contact our main office number to be advised of any schedule adjustments at 404-612-7020.
In compliance with the Georgia Election Code Section 21-2-492, notice is hereby given that the computation and canvassing of the returns of votes cast in the September 23, 2025, Special Runoff Election for Senate District 21 will be made at the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections, Election Hub and Operation Center (EHOC) located at:
