Anthony Nicks

Mr. Anthony Nicks joined Fulton County in 2005 as the Deputy Director of Internal Audit. Mr. Nicks' astute business acumen allowed him to excel extensively within the audit arena earning him the position of Director of the Office of Internal Audit in 2008.Prior to joining Fulton County, Mr. Nicks served as a Senior Auditor for the City of Atlanta Airport Fund.

Under his leadership, his office has been able to successfully provide recommendations for more efficient operations throughout county departments, assist in the development and monitoring of county-wide revenue generating initiatives and secure more than $20M in funds due Fulton County. He is a highly regarded and well respected professional who is dedicated to providing exceptional service to the citizens of Fulton County. Remaining focused on the use of cutting-edge audit methodologies and best practices have afforded him the ability to mobilize resources and develop effective strategic plans for operational efficiency through audit recommendations that have positively impacted the manner in which we conduct business.

Mr. Nicks earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College. He is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Government Auditing Professional. Mr. Nicks is a member of The Government Finance Officers Association, The Institute of Internal Auditors and The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
