Fulton County Kicks Off Major Expansion of Solar Panel Installations at County Facilities

At 10 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025, Fulton County will hold a second ceremony at the Dorothy C. Benson Senior Multipurpose Complex (6500 Vernon Woods Drive, Sandy Springs) to highlight the continued rollout of its new solar panel installations. 

The initiative is part of the County's expanded sustainability efforts, aiming to reduce long-term energy costs and environmental impact. The solar program is administered in partnership with Cherry Street Energy, Inc., and will include 46 installations county-wide.
