Fulton County Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman of the Mighty District 6 is once again inviting seniors to come out for a day education and empowerment.
The Commissioner will host the Annual Senior Summit 2025 Lunch & Learn Seminar on Wednesday, May 28. Seniors are invited to join the Commissioner from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center located at 2000 Convention Center Concourse College Park, GA. 30337.
The doors open at 9 a.m. for registration and breakfast. It will be a day that promises to address the unique challenges faced by individuals aged 65 and older within Fulton County.
"The Senior Summit promises to encourage collaboration strengthen support networks among the seniors in our community,” said Commissioner Abdur-Rahman. "The goal of this summit is to help seniors age with dignity and independence by providing information that promotes health & wellness, wellbeing, safety, social connections, and civic engagement.”
In partnership with the Fulton County Senior Services Department, this year’s Summit will feature Fulton Chief Probate Judge Kenya Johnson, Atlanta Legal Aid, Georgia Council on Aging, Crimes Against the Disabled and Elderly Task Force (CADE), and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI). The AARP Foundation will also be on-site ready to assist those looking for work. Interested seniors are encouraged to bring updated resumes.

Registration is underway and is scheduled to close on Friday, May 23. In addition to the Summit registration, seniors must register for to participate in the following activities:
