There was a celebration at the Auburn Ave Research Library for the Connected Youth Leadership program. Hear more from Community Development Director Stan Wilson. This is one of the premier programs that we have in community development. It really started during COVID-19 because we needed an opportunity to engage youth. So we connected with 21st Century Leaders, a nonprofit, to do an online leadership session that's really grown into multiple levels as you've heard here today; and the participation has been great. We gave out some laptops, and we gave out some gift certificates. The last announcement was paid internships and scholarships for their future. We look at this program kind of as a launching pad. We want to track and follow how they're doing, and we're proud to be able to be a part of their lives and their future.
