Commissioner Dana Barrett's office is hosting a discussion panel on Securing the Vote. Hear more from District 3 Commissioner Dana Barrett. There is a lot of misinformation and confusion sometimes about our elections process and how it all works. Our panelists were really fantastic experts on the subject. Rep. Park Cannon is joining us on the panel as well as Rachel Glover from ACLU and LaShandra Little from Fulton County Elections. They're bringing all the expertise from kind of different corners of the universe. There have been some changes to state law; it's very important to have the conversations around the impact of those changes. There's also going to be some changes coming up in the legislative session in 2026, so certainly conversation about those things and what we can be looking forward to there will be very very important as well as the most recent purge of the voter roles and people's concerns about whether or not they're registered. So we want to make sure everyone knows how to check their registration and get registered if they're not.
