Future Ready Libraries is the theme at this year's annual Library Staff Development Day. Hear more from Library System PR/Marketing Director Claudia Strange. We bring together almost 300 staff members from all over the county from Milton to Palmetto for one day of training. It's our one time a year that we get to get together and getting them information about what new trends are in libraries, how we can prepare for the future of libraries. Our theme today is future ready libraries. So we'll be doing a lot of activities around prepping for the future. We've got sessions on AI and digital literacy and the importance of librarians having that information for the public. We'll be doing a lot of that kind of training as well as CPR training. We have all kinds of sessions about how to prepare for all the different things coming up in libraries in the coming year. So it's just a really great opportunity to learn and have some fellowship with our fellow employees.
