The inaugural Fulton County Chairman Senior Games commenced at Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility. Hear more from Chairman Robb Pitts. This is an idea I came up with about a year and a half ago. We've been working on it with my staff and with Ladisa and her staff to put this together. This year is not as big as it's going to be next year. This is sort of like a trial run for us to get our seniors out and active. We're a sports town; seniors love sports, they love exercise. This covers all the bases for us. This line dancing was the first event. On Thursday we'll have swimming, volleyball, basketball and track and field. But again, this year is just to work out the kinks so that next year will be bigger and better and open to all seniors throughout Fulton County. I am so excited about this program. As you can tell today from the excitement, the enthusiasm here, our seniors absolutely love it. So it's another big deal for Fulton County, Georgia.
