Fulton County Announces Winter Farmer’s Markets for Seniors

November 18, 2025
As part of its SNAP Crisis Response Plan, the county will host markets at 4 senior centers.

Fulton County is responding to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits crisis with a series of local farmer’s markets. To ensure that seniors have access to fresh produce, the Department of Senior Services will host markets at 4 Fulton County senior centers.

The announcement is part of the county’s SNAP Crisis Response Plan. Despite the recent reopening of the government, following an extensive shutdown, some seniors may be experiencing a delay in receiving their benefits. Fulton County is working to step in to help increase fresh food access for older adults.

While all Fulton County seniors are welcome, priority will be given to those receiving SNAP benefits. Eligible seniors will receive a $100 produce voucher to use with Local Lands Farmer and will also be provided with a shopping bag. The Winter Farmer’s Markets will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
