Fulton County Accepting Applications for Home Community Development Organization

The Fulton County Department of Community Development is releasing a solicitation for qualifying HOME Investment Partnership Community Housing Development Organization’s (CHDO) on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, to aid eligible non-profit housing organizations that provide affordable housing to residents of Fulton County. Applicants may complete applications until Tuesday, January 27, 2026, 3 p.m.

The Fulton County Department of Community Development is awarded entitlement funding annually from HUD’s HOME Investment Partnership Program, which provides funding to preserve or create affordable housing opportunities for individuals and families earning up to 80% of Area Median Income. Certified CHDO’s must act as the owner, developer, or sponsor of a real estate development project that is an eligible activity.

These eligible activities include:

· Homebuyer Activities (acquisition, rehabilitation, new construction, down-payment assistance)
· Rental Housing (acquisition, rehabilitation, new construction)

There is approximately $624,549.75 in available grant funds. On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, the application and supporting documents will be made available on the BidNet Direct website and via Fulton County WebGrants.

A Virtual Pre-Proposal Conference and Technical Assistance workshop will be hosted on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. - 12 noon.
