Happening in Fulton: Fulton County Hosts First Align and Unwind Wellness Event
Fulton County held their first annual Align and Unwind Wellness event for residents to work on relaxation and wellness. Hear more from District 6 Vice Chair Khadijah Abdur-Rahman. This was a labor of love between my office and the department of behavior and mental health. When I tell you I am so relaxed. I struggled with sciatica nerves issues in my back, and today was the first day I've been able get on the floor, exercise, and come up in 15 years. So I'm a living testimony of what Fulton County believes in bringing government to the people. This was an answer to a cry for what can we do in the community that's positive that people could be at their own pace. Today you had beginners like me and you had people who were pros at it, but everybody was on the same vibration. Everybody was with this oneness of positivity. I'm so excited that we who serve in the government understand that to bring the love to the community, we do it in different ways, shapes, and forms.
