The SR 400 Express Lanes is one of the Major Mobility Investment Program (MMIP) projects to improve mobility along
this vital north-south transportation corridor. The project will be part of the larger Georgia Express Lanes network,
designed to provide a connected transportation system with reliable trip times for motorists. The project focuses on
adding two, buffer-separated express lanes in each direction between the North Springs MARTA Station and McGinnis
Ferry Road. Additionally, one, buffer-separated express lane will be constructed in each direction from McGinnis Ferry
Road to McFarland Parkway.
The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) is providing the public with an opportunity to view the Draft
Environmental Assessment (EA) and the proposed project, ask questions, and comment on the Draft EA by visiting an
online platform: https://0001757-gdot.hub.arcgis.com. The project team will also host a live, virtual event that will be
informal, and the public is invited to attend at any time during the hours listed below; however, a formal presentation
will begin at 5:30 p.m. Questions from participants will be accepted after the presentation.
