“The Fulton County Department of Registration & Elections has completed compiling and counting votes from Early Voting, Election Day Balloting, and Absentee Ballots for the January 5, 2021 Georgia Runoff Election. More than 400 thousand Fulton County residents made their choices known during this historic contest. We are pleased to say, even with a national spotlight and record turnout for a runoff election, Fulton County voters experienced no major issues or impediments to casting their ballots. All that remains is the processing of provisional ballots and those absentee ballots cast by our military and other Fulton County residents living out of the country that are received by Friday, January 8. At 7p.m. today, processing of those ballots will begin and they will be compiled and added to the overall final tally of votes.”
