WHO: Fulton County Commissioner Natalie Hall, District 4, Representatives of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change
WHAT: Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park will collaborate with the King Center for their second annual Beloved Community International Expo. The National Park Service will create an International Youth Village and engage youth of all ages in fun educational activities, including games, music, and dancing.
Educational programs will focus on Dr. King’s vision of a “beloved community” of love and equality among all people throughout the world.
Activities will take place near the park’s Visitor Center, 450 Auburn Avenue. Fulton County departments will have exhibits demonstrating their programs and services. They include Arts & Culture, Senior Services, the Fulton County Library System, Registration and Elections and Cooperative Extension. The event is free and open to the public.
