Fulton County District 4 Commissioner Natalie Hall will host her annual C.E.O.s (Careers-Entrepreneurship-Opportunities) of Tomorrow Youth Conference at the Loudermilk Center, 40 Courtland St NE, Atlanta, GA 30303 on Friday, October 25, 2019. The theme of this year’s event is “Talk, Think, and Take Action.” The five-hour conference will include a breakfast introduction with keynote speakers, Civil Rights Activist, former Mayor of Atlanta, and former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Andrew Jackson Young, Jr. and DeKalb County Super District 7 Commissioner, Lorraine Cochran-Johnson, a lunch panel discussion, interactive exhibits, and a series of career-driven seminars and team-building workshops.
“Our young people are the future. It is our responsibility to ensure that our youth are prepared for the real-world challenges they will encounter upon graduating and choose a successful path for their life, said District 4 Commissioner Natalie Hall. “I know this year’s conference will give them the proper insight on how they can be successful and achieve their goals. We have so many talented young people in our community who simply need us to care, guide, and direct them.
The C.E.O.s of Tomorrow Youth Conference will provide the Fulton County and Atlanta Public School high school students with a wide range of career and leadership options that include science, technology, engineering, arts, film, music, fashion, mathematics, and entrepreneurship.
The lunchtime panel discussion will include several community leaders from non-profit organizations, government, fashion, arts, media, and sports. Panelists scheduled to appear include Fulton County Arts and Culture Director, Lionell Thomas, President and CEO of Urban League of Greater Atlanta, Nancy Flake Johnson, President and CEO of TCJ AeroTech, LLC., Terrance Johnson, Former NFL 49ers and Vikings Player, Terry LeCount, Co-Founders of Respected Roots, Jason L. Hawkins and Jaret Patterson, Founder and President of Real Chicks Rock, Michelle Dawes Birt, and Sports Business Strategy Consultant, Andrea Young. Exhibitors on site will include representatives from various Fulton County agencies and organizations, including Arts & Culture, Board of Health, Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities, WorkSource, the Fulton County Library System, and the Urban League of Young Professionals. A drone experience hosted by TCJ AeroTech, LLC, and an interactive race car from Bryant Group Motor Sports Academy are also going to be on-site for the event.
