“The mission of Probate Court is to educate citizens about our services proactively,” said Chief Probate Judge Johnson. “Teaching seniors about estate planning and other end of life decisions empowers citizens and strengthens families. We also look forward to renewing marriage vows at the Senior Wedding Ceremony for couples married over 40 years. It is through our collaboration with the Mighty District 6 that we continue to help our Seniors thrive.”

“At the District Attorney’s Office, we strive to go just beyond prosecuting crimes,” said District Attorney Willis. “We aim to be a part of the community, working towards preventing crimes before they happen. Our seniors have worked hard their entire lives to raise their families and ensure their own safety and comfort. It is our duty to support them. By working with the Probate court, the Commissioners, the Clerk of Superior Court, and other county agencies and partners, we will equip them with the tools and skills to protect themselves from those who would endanger their wealth, health, and safety as well as have some fun.”
