Happening in Fulton: Write to Rise

The second week of the summer writing series "Write to Rise" took place. Hear more from Program Director Channing Parham. This week we went over publishing trends, the basics of how to build a blog post, as well as held a short story competition; we awarded the best story $50. We really believe in fostering community amongst our writers, but also keeping the nature of cohort alive with the competition. In this everyone did an outstanding stellar job. I'm so proud of our young writers and how far they've come. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.
