The District Attorney established the Case Intake Division upon taking office, and it is one of the most important parts of the agency, staffed by experienced prosecutors and investigators who work with police departments countywide to build effective cases.  The work of the Case Intake Division is critical to ensuring the proper charging decisions are made and that all evidence is secured to ensure a successful prosecution.
