Holiday Closure

In observance of the holidays, all Fulton County Government offices and the Government Center, will be closed on Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, 2025. The Fulton County Courthouse will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25. The Courthouse will be open for essential services only on Friday, December 26. Normal operations will resume on Monday, December 29. Public safety services are available 24/7.

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners has tentatively adopted a 2025 millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 12.49 percent.

All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax increase to be held at the Government Center Assembly Hall, 141 Pryor Street, Atlanta, GA 30303 on July 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and 6 p.m., and via video conferencing accessible via the Fulton County website at www.fultoncountyga.gov, or accessible via Zoom at the following web addresses on July 9, 2025:

This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 9.87 mills, an increase of 1.096 mills. Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 8.774 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $562,500 is approximately $213.72 and the proposed tax increase for a non-homestead property with a fair market value of $875,000 is approximately $383.60.
