Graduation was held for Accountability Court graduates as they look forward to new phases in their lives. Hear more from Accountability Court Director John Collins. The accountability program at its core is about second chances. It's a place for those folks who find themselves in the criminal justice system struggling with substance abuse or mental health issues where they can get the help that they need, where they can get the support, where they can get the structure and accountability to make that second, third, or fourth chance count and make a change in their lives. I think people underestimate how much hard work it is to come through a program like this and confront issues that maybe's been plaguing somebody for 10-25 years, and it just takes such hard work and such commitment. They really should be proud and we are really proud of them, and we're here to see them flourish and support them as they move forward.
