Fulton County to Collect Palmetto and Union City Property Taxes

Fulton County will begin collecting Palmetto and Union City Property Taxes

Fulton County to Collect Palmetto and Union City Property Taxes

September 11, 2025
The change will put city taxes on county bills.
Fulton County will bill and collect property taxes for the City of Union City and the portion of the City of Palmetto that lies within Fulton County, beginning Tax Year 2025. Bills will be issued and taxes are payable to the Fulton County Tax Commissioner’s Office, rather than to the Finance Departments of the respective cities.

Palmetto residents who live in Coweta County will not be affected; they will continue to receive a separate property tax bill from the City of Palmetto.

Fulton County routinely sends out tax bills earlier than cities, so residents can expect to receive the city portion of their property tax bills sooner than in previous years.

Delinquent taxes from previous years will continue to be collected by the cities. They remain subject to interest, penalties and tax sale proceedings if they remain unpaid.

Residents may pay their tax bills online at www.fultoncountytaxes.org, by telephone at 404-613-6100, in person at the South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, GA 30349 or any of the Tax Commissioner’s three other full service locations.

Additionally, you can mail your payment to:

Fulton County Tax Commissioner
141 Pryor Street, Suite 1106
Atlanta, GA 30303
