Fulton County Extends Hours of Atlanta Polling Locations
Fulton County Extends Hours of Atlanta Polling Locations
The Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections has announced all Atlanta polling locations will be open until 8 p.m. for voters casting their ballots in the City of Atlanta Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The decision follows a ruling from Fulton County Superior Court issued on Monday, November 3, 2025.
Voters should expect the following:
- At 7 p.m., if there is a line at any City of Atlanta polling place, a poll worker and an assistant poll manager will stand at the end of the line.
- Voters who were in line at 7 p.m. will vote on the Ballot Marking Device (BMD) and place their ballots into the scanners.
- Any voters who enter the line for the polling place after 7 p.m. may only vote if they are registered in the City of Atlanta. These voters will vote on paper provisional ballots for Atlanta Municipal Election races only.
The Public Service Commissioner Election concludes at 7 p.m. Votes cast on provisional paper ballots after 7 p.m. will not be counted toward the Public Service Commissioner race.
These changes do not affect any Fulton County polling place outside the City of Atlanta.
