DA Fani Willis and community partners hosted the STOP Domestic Violence Abuse 5K at Shirley Franklin Park. Hear more from District Attorney Fani Willis. Last year the district attorney's office hosted this on our own. As you know, domestic violence is one of the issues that we are fighting the most. We have 500 indicted domestic violence cases right now, 40 of which involve homicide. So this is an issue that we want to bring light to. This year it is particularly exciting because we have partners to join us. This is a team effort that's going to be taken to support our domestic violence victims and we are just excited for the support. I am trying to make sure that Fulton County comes into the future and that we get a family justice violence center here to help our domestic violence victims. Every time we can bring awareness, I'm going to be here strongly fighting for these victims.
