Fulton County continues to demonstrate why it remains one of the nation’s most competitive locations for investment, talent, and long-term growth. In the most recent Site Selection Magazine Top Counties ranking, Fulton County placed No. 13 nationally, maintaining a Top 20 position for the third consecutive year. This year’s ranking reinforces a clear message: Fulton County’s economic development remains strong, resilient, and nationally relevant.
The Top Counties rankings recognize more than headline projects. They highlight the behind-the-scenes work counties perform every day ranging from permitting and zoning to infrastructure coordination, workforce readiness, and long-term project retention. Rankings are based on the number of projects announced between January 2024 and March 2025, total capital investment, and jobs created, using data from Site Selection’s Conway Projects Database.
