Fulton Fresh Mobile Market 2026 Application for Host Sites Now Open

April 07, 2026
Community organizations invited to apply by April 24 to bring free produce and nutrition education to Fulton County residents.
The Fulton Fresh Mobile Market in partnership with UGA Cooperative Extension is now accepting applications for organizations interested in serving as host sites for the 2026 season. Fulton Fresh is a multigenerational initiative designed to increase awareness and consumption of in-season, local produce in urban communities throughout Fulton County.

Fulton Fresh integrates youth, agriculture, and family and consumer sciences programming to connect residents with healthy food and hands-on education. During each session, participants attend a 20- to 45-minute UGA Extension educational demonstration and receive a free bag of produce to take home and prepare.

Produce is provided at no cost to individuals who arrive no later than 10 minutes after the class begins.

The 2026 Fulton Fresh season will run from June through November 2026. Each selected host site will be visited one day per week for at least two weeks during the season. Host sites and their designated agency contact will be responsible for supporting setup and promoting the sessions to their communities.

“Fulton Fresh is about more than access to fresh produce. It is about education, community connection, and helping families build healthier habits together,” said Shirley Dodd, Outreach Coordinator of the UGA/Fulton County Cooperative Extension program. “We encourage organizations across Fulton County to apply and partner with us to bring this important program to residents.”

Priority will be given to locations that are either:

Located in a USDA food desert
Within an area identified by the Fulton County Food Severity Index

To be considered, applicants must also meet the following requirements:
The point of contact must be responsible for marketing the sessions and must be present at all sessions.
The applicant must have permission to admit members of the public to the host site for the duration of the program.
The applicant should have the authority to review and sign a memorandum of understanding with UGA Extension Fulton County.

Organizations selected in previous years may apply again, but all applications will go through the same review process.

Applications must be submitted by Friday, April 24, 2026, at 5 p.m. Apply to be a host site here. No late submissions will be accepted. Completion of the application does not guarantee selection as a 2026 Fulton Fresh host site.
