Fulton County Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Host Drug Take Back Events

The events provide a free, anonymous opportunities for residents to dispose of unused or expired medications.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 25, and in observance, the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) and its partners are providing residents with opportunities to get rid of all unused and expired medications.

The events and recognition of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day assist in curbing the addiction epidemic, as a significant portion of misused prescription drugs are obtained from home medicine cabinets. It also prevents environmental contamination from flushing medications.
