Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr. Hosts 2026 Family Fun Day

April 21, 2026
Join the Commissioner for an afternoon of celebrating family, health, and wellness.
Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr., of District 5 will kick off the District 5 Annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Residents are invited to join Commissioner Arrington from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the South Fulton Service Center located at 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, South Fulton, GA 30349.

This is the 11th year for this free family fun event. Come on out for some sports activities, storytelling, face painting, and more. Families will also have access to several Fulton County services such as the mobile units from the Fulton County Library System and Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Fulton Fresh will also giveaway fresh produce.

“Family Fun Day is one of my favorite traditions because it brings our community together around what matters most—family, health, and connection,” said Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr. “For 11 years, we’ve created a space where residents can have fun, access valuable resources, and invest in their well-being. I look forward to seeing families come out, enjoy the day, and take advantage of everything we have to offer.”

Family Fun Day focuses on healthy living through recreation, health education, screenings, and a fresh produce mobile. The event will also feature local performances and family friendly activities like putt-putt, bumper cars, bowling, and basketball.

Participants must RSVP. The event can be shared on social media via the hashtag #2026FamilyFunDay.
