Fulton County CoC Seeks Letters of Interest for Upcoming HUD Notice of Funding Opportunity
The Fulton County Continuum of Care (CoC) is preparing for the release of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) FY 2026 CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
In advance of HUD’s official announcement, the Fulton County CoC is inviting Letters of Intent (LOIs) from agencies interested in applying for new, renewal, or expansion CoC funded projects. The deadline to submit the attached LOI is 5 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026.
This early LOI process will help support local planning, strengthen competition readiness, and ensure efficient resource allocation once HUD releases the FY 2026 NOFO.
I. Applicant Expectations
Agencies submitting an LOI should be prepared for selected projects to:
• Meet HUD eligibility requirements under 24 CFR Part 578
• Demonstrate the capacity to manage federal funds in compliance with 2 CFR 200
• Participate in the Coordinated Entry System and HMIS (or a comparable DV database)
• Align with CoC strategic priorities
• Meet all HUD and CoC deadlines following the release of the FY 2026 NOFO
II. Funding Considerations
Funding availability for new and expansion projects will depend on HUD’s FY 2026 allocations, including:
• Annual Renewal Demand (ARD)
• Permanent Housing Bonus
• Domestic Violence (DV) Bonus
• Any reallocated funds
III. Letter of Interest Submission
• Organizations must submit a Letter of Interest by 5 p.m. on May 15, 2026, to be considered for funding when HUD releases the FY 2026 NOFO. Submit LOI and questions to homelessinfo@fultoncountyga.gov.
