Happening in Fulton: Fulton County Releases Reparations Task Force HARM Report at Auburn Avenue Research Library
The Reparations Task Force HARM Report was released at Auburn Avenue Research Library. Hear more from District 5 Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr. The HARM report is a 660 page that evidences and documents the harm done by Fulton County to African-Americans. So it is a historic occasion. This document was accepted and adopted by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. This is phase one: the HARM report, and we've authorized the task force to serve for two more years. It is their intention to bring back to the board of commissioners a repair report. It took five years to get to this point, but it's well worth it. The evidence and book that they've produced is just phenomenal. I'm so excited to have this opportunity and be able to showcase this to other counties who can go and now document and evidence the harm done by those counties.
