July 15 closures

Due to the FIFA World Cup match in downtown Atlanta on July 15, the Fulton County Tax Commissioner's Downtown Office is closed. See other locations here. The Central and Auburn Avenue Research Libraries will close at 4 p.m. See other locations here.

Happening in Fulton: D5 TAX ASSESSMENT TOWN HALL

Commissioner Arrington Jr. held his annual District 5 Tax Assessment Town Hall at Camp Truitt Neighborhood Senior Center. Hear more from District 5 Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington Jr. We have three new exemptions: two for Fulton County Schools and one for the city of Atlanta. We're excited to share that information with our seniors. We also have a new homestead exemption deadline which is this year July 31st or 45 days from the date that the assessment went out. So we're just here to share that information with our seniors to make sure that they understand the assessment notices that they received, and to make sure that they can get all of the exemptions that they qualify for.
