Happening in Fulton: Record Restriction Event Connects Fulton County Residents With Second Chances

July 17, 2026

The Records Restriction Summit was held to help residents determine if parts of their records qualify for restriction. Hear more from Volunteer Chair, Trinity Presbyterian Church Terri Pendergrast. It was a synergy. We had seen the District Attorney's Office and Georgia Judges Justice Project work on these kind of events and we realized that was a perfect fit for our church's outreach. From the applicants, we've gotten phenomenal feedback. If their record qualifies for restriction, they walk out of here with a court order that allows them to have their record sealed and immediately start applying for jobs, housing; it's just an instant relief to have that done in the cases where record is restricted.
