Happening in Fulton: Fulton County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy Goes Inside Deputy Training

They'll be able to see DT training, get to experience gun simulation as well as taser simulation. It gives them an insight because you have a lot of questions out there, right? What do they do? What exactly does the sheriff's office do versus what the police do? We're somewhat the same, but we're a little different. We're a little better as they say, right? Nonetheless we go through the different demonstrations to show them exactly what it is that we do to be certified and all of those good things. They get hands-on experience as well as Q&As with the sheriff himself, which they did on the first day.
