Happening in Fulton: Fulton County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy Goes Behind the Scenes at the Jail
Participants in the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Citizens Academy went behind the scenes at the Fulton County Jail to learn more about its daily operations. Hear more from Sheriff's Office Captain Ravoris Latimore. They were able to go into the jail to see what the facility looks like, how the officers work on a day-to-day basis. They were able to see medical as well as several different floors to see how they operate as well as our intake area to see how they operate, what the process is for individuals that are being arrested to come into the intake area and their process to go to the floor. We've already done law enforcement with our main jail. We also will be doing court services. We did our training area as well just so that they can get an introspective look of what we do on a day-to-day basis.
