Happening in Fulton: Fulton County Employees Give Back During American Red Cross Blood Drive
Fulton County partnered with the American Red Cross for its third quarterly blood drive at the Fulton County Government Center. Hear more from External Affairs Coordinator Douglass Bell. We collected upwards of 50 pints of blood today. So that is a huge help because there's always a shortage, and the Red Cross is in dire need of blood donations from the community. So this is a convenient way for employees and people who live in the area to come down and donate. One pint of blood can save up to three lives, so donations go further than people think they do. It's very, very helpful for the community in times of catastrophe and just for day-to-day hospitalizations. Blood donations are always needed, and we are certainly thankful for our faithful donors.
