Happening in Fulton: Domestic Violence Training

Honoring Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the DA's Office and Solicitor General's Office partnered to have domestic violence training. Hear more from Deputy District Attorney Asia Baysah. We have four classes teaching from strangulation to evidence-based prosecution for prosecutors, investigators, our law enforcement partners, all coming together to learn about this important topic. It's important because domestic violence affects us all. In the Fulton County's District Attorney's Office, we have almost 700 indicted domestic violence cases, 40 of those being homicides. It's important because domestic violence is rampant all across Fulton County, and we need to raise awareness.
