Fulton County Proposed Advance Voting Ballot Re-scan - November 3, 2026
During advance voting for the November 3, 2026, Election, equipment failures occurred with two ICP scanners at two advance voting locations. In response, the Fulton County Director of Registration & Elections notified the Georgia Secretary of State Elections Division of the issue.
Thereafter, the Georgia Secretary of State Voting System Division recommended corrective actions, which could potentially result in the rescanning of affected ballots. A total of 1,069 ballots, out of more than 328,000 ballots cast, have been identified for possible rescanning.
These recommendations are subject to approval by the Fulton County Board of Registration & Elections at its board meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. today. To promote transparency throughout the process, upon approval, the rescanning shall be conducted in public view.
