Pet of the Week
The Fulton County Pets of the Week initiative, in partnership with the Fulton County Animal Services Facility, is a dedicated effort designed to promote pet adoption and enhance awareness of the animals seeking forever homes. This initiative serves a dual purpose: not only does it highlight specific pets each week, but it also fosters a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and joys associated with pet ownership.
By featuring a diverse array of pets- from playful puppies to mature dogs and affectionate cats—the initiative showcases each animal's unique personalities and qualities, making it easier for individuals and families to envision their future companions.
There’s no better time to find your purr-fect companion! From Friday, November 28, through Sunday, December 7, all adoptions from Fulton County Animal Services will be free! That goes for all dogs and cats in the shelter and those currently in foster homes. Check out the hundreds available at www.fultonanimalservices.com/adopt.
Shelter adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

Ness is a shy but sweet pup with a playful side waiting to shine. He may take a little time to warm up, but with patience and gentle encouragement, his curious and goofy personality begins to emerge.
He’s still building confidence in new environments, but with a calm and caring companion, Ness has all the potential to grow into a loving, loyal, and unforgettable best friend.
You can stop by Fulton County Animal Services any day of the week to meet Ness and hundreds of other adoptable dogs and cats. Our address is 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30336. For more information about one of our pets, email adoptions@fultonanimalservices.com or call 404.613.0357.
