Comprehensive Annual Performance and Evaluation REPORT (CAPER) for Program Year 2023

Notice is hereby given that the CAPER for FY 2023 for Fulton County will be display for the period March 12 to March 26, 2024. The Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) provides a review of the use of funds for the three federal programs from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program.

This report contains information including: 1) Summary of the resources and accomplishments, 2) status of actions taken during the year to implement the goals outlined in the Consolidated Plan, and 3) evaluation of the progress made during the year in addressing identified priority needs and objectives.

FULTON COUNTY, GA
FY2024 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN

Notice is hereby given that Fulton County, GA (County) has prepared its 2024 Annual Action Plan for the following federal programs: Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program.

For FY 2024, Fulton County expects to receive the following amounts CDBG: $1,300,000 HOME: $735,000. These amounts are estimates only and final allocations to the County are dependent on Congressional budget and appropriations. The Annual Plan document describes how changes to these amounts will be treated should the County receive more or less than anticipated. These funds will be used for a variety of eligible activities and services that will benefit Fulton County citizens, with the exception of those citizens residing within the city limits of Atlanta, Chattahoochee Hills, Milton, Roswell, and Sandy Springs.

In order to obtain the views of citizens, public agencies, and other interested parties, the County has placed its proposed FY 2024 Annual Action Plan on public display at the Fulton County Department of Community Development, and online at https://www.fultoncountyga.gov/inside-fulton-county/fulton-county-departments/community-development/community-development-news
beginning March 1, 2024 and ending April 1, 2024.

Notice is also given that Fulton County will hold a public hearing on March 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Fulton County College Park Library 3647 Main Street College Park, GA 30337. Persons wishing to participate virtually may join via Zoom:

Comments received before 4:00 p.m. April 1, 2024, will be considered. The County Board of Commissioners are expected to act on the proposed FY2024 Annual Action Plan at the regularly scheduled Commissioners meeting 10:00 a.m. Wednesday April 10, 2024.

Fulton County Seeks Citizen Comments on the Action Plan for FY 2022 Feedback is requested on Fulton County’s Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2022 for the following federal programs: Community Development Block Grant Program and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program.

For FY 2022, Fulton County will receive the following amounts:

HOME: $736,244

These funds will be used for a variety of eligible activities and services that will benefit Fulton County citizens, with the exception of those citizens residing within the city limits of Atlanta, Roswell, South Fulton and Sandy Springs.

Feedback is needed on the Draft Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2021 and a substantial amendment to the Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2020 for the following three federal programs: Community Development Block Grant Program, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and the Emergency Solutions Grant

For FY 2021, Fulton County will receive a total of $5,602,860 from HUD under three formula programs - CDBG, HOME, and ESG. These funds will be used for a variety of eligible activities and services that will benefit Fulton County citizens, with the exception of those citizens residing within the city limits of Atlanta, Roswell, South Fulton and Sandy Springs.

The public is invited to comment on the Draft Annual Action Plan for FY2021 for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs and on the proposed use of CDBG funds for FY 2020 during a virtual hearing.
