Due to Fulton County facility closures related to the COVID-19 health emergency, Fulton County Department of Community Development’s Homeless Division and Fulton County’s Homeless Assessment Centers have modified their operating hours and the service delivery models. 

The Fulton County Homeless Division staff is working remotely until further notice. Citizens can contact Fulton County Continuum of Care Homeless Assessment Centers.

North Fulton Homeless Assessment Center (North Fulton Community Charities, 11270, Elkins Rd., Roswell, GA 30076).
Service Update

  • Staff is working remotely and citizens who require services should call talkdesk770-640-0399.
  • The food pantry services have been moved to a drive-thru option.
  • Food pantry orders have been placed online.
  • Existing NFCC Clients should complete the Food Pantry Order Form.
  • New families to NFCC should use the Get Help Form for all services including food.
  • Emergency financial assistance for housing or utilities has been moved online ONLY.
  • Clients should also complete an Appointment Request Form for any emergency financial assistance.

South Fulton Assessment Center (137 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30303)

Service Update

  • Staff is working remotely. Citizens who require services should call the South Fulton Assessment Center’s Coordinated Intake line at talkdesk404-612-0720 or talkdesk404-612-0137  for an initial telephone assessment or complete the online assessment form. In-person meetings will be scheduled on an as-needed basis. 

Hope Atlanta (Coordinated Intake Homeless Outreach Activities)
Hope Atlanta is currently open and providing homeless outreach in North and South Fulton. Citizens who require services should contact Hope Atlanta at talkdesk404-817-7070 or email     
The Fulton County Homeless Team is committed to helping our most vulnerable citizens with assistance continuing throughout this crisis. 

If you need immediate assistance and are not able to reach a representative, please call the United Way at 211.

Notice is given by Fulton County, that a substantial amendment to its 2019 Annual Action Plan is available for comment. A summary of the substantial amendment has been posted on the County’s website following is a summary and language that amends the 2019 Annual Action Plan.

Notice is given by Fulton County, that a substantial amendment to its 2019 Annual Action Plan is available for public review and comment. Fulton County Seeks Citizen Comments on the following

Draft Action Plan for FY 2021 & Substantial Amendment to Action Plan for FY 2020 
Feedback is needed on the Draft Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2021 and a substantial amendment to the Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2020 for the following three federal programs: Community Development Block Grant Program, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and the Emergency Solutions Grant

For FY 2021, Fulton County will receive a total of $5,602,860 from HUD under three formula programs - CDBG, HOME, and ESG. These funds will be used for a variety of eligible activities and services that will benefit Fulton County citizens, with the exception of those citizens residing within the city limits of Atlanta, Roswell, South Fulton and Sandy Springs.

The public is invited to comment on the Draft Annual Action Plan for FY2021 for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs and on the proposed use of CDBG funds for FY 2020 during a virtual hearing. 
The virtual hearing will be held on April 1, 2021 at 6 PM via Zoom.
