Holiday Closure

In observance of the holidays, all Fulton County Government offices and the Government Center, will be closed on Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, 2025. The Fulton County Courthouse will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25. The Courthouse will be open for essential services only on Friday, December 26. Normal operations will resume on Monday, December 29. Public safety services are available 24/7.

In Memoriam: Former Fulton County Sheriff Robert H. McMichael, II

Fulton County honors former Sheriff Robert Henry McMichael who passed away April 28, 2021. Sheriff McMichael led the agency from 1989 to 1993. The following year after leaving office, President Bill Clinton appointed Sheriff McMichael to serve as the United States Marshal for the Northern District of Georgia.
