Donations are being accepted at three Fulton County locations until Friday, December 8.
Fulton County Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman wants to make sure that families in the MIGHTY 6 enjoy a happy holiday season. The Commissioner and her team are now accepting donations for their 2023 Annual Toy Drive through Friday, December 8, 2023.
Donated Toys shall value at $100.00 or less.
Those wishing to make donations may drop off toys and gifts at one of the following three locations:
• Fulton County Government Center 10th Floor, 141 Pryor Street, S.W., Atlanta, GA. 30303
• H.J.C. Bowden Senior Multipurpose Facility, 2885 Church Street, East Point, GA. 30344
• Harriett G. Darnell Senior Multipurpose Facility, 677 Fairburn Rd., N.W., Atlanta, GA. 30331
"Our toy drive goes beyond the ordinary act of simply giving toys away. It's a chance to bring happiness to children who are in need," said Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman. "For numerous parents and grandparents of these children, this support is crucial. This initiative is not merely a toy drive, it's an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our most vulnerable and influential members of society."
The Toy Drive will culminate with Commissioner Abdur-Rahman distributing toys to the grandchildren of Seniors at Senior Facilities in the Mighty 6, and within the District 6 community.
