FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONER ARRINGTON HOSTS D5 DOPE MIC COMPETITION

Fulton County District 5 Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr., is on the lookout for some fresh talent! The Commissioner is inviting young MCs to show off their talent by entering the D5 Dope MC Competition.
This contest is open to young artists in two categories – those ages 12 to 16 and those ages 17 to 21. To enter, participants must submit a 2-minute audition track featuring their performance. All performances are expected to include clean content, language, and attire.
Judges will rate participants on appearance, content, delivery, and originality. The top 3 entries in each age category will be selected to perform live during the District 5 Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
The first-place winner in each age category will also receive a $300 cash prize, a free studio session, and a free half-hour video/photo shoot. All 2-minute audition tracks must be submitted to marvin.arrington@fultoncountyga.gov by April 4, 2024.
