The Fulton County Library System presented a limited edition library card in celebration of Black History Month and 30 years of Auburn Avenue Research Library. Hear more from fine artist Charley Palmer. This was a wonderful dream come true assignment. It is being introduced to someone who's new, someone that I had not known of before but was instrumental in bringing libraries to Atlanta, and that's Ms. Annie. Once I got the information it was one of these things I felt I could connect with. I'm hoping I'm telling the story as true and clear as possible. There's the landmark of the King Statue, there is the research center, and these beautiful black children holding up signs of inspiration. So I hope that everybody can see that and spend some time with it.
