As part of celebrating Women's History Month, the Empower Her: A Celebration of Women in Art exhibition is at the Emma Darnell Aviation Museum. Hear more from Black Women in Visual Art Curator Lauren Jackson-Harris. I'm here talking with these artists of Empower Her 2025: Celebrating Women in Art. It's important because our voices need to be told and heard around the world especially with a lot of oppression coming towards women in politics and spaces. We need artists to really represent the themes, the ideas, the thoughts we have, and the feelings that we have. I think this show does that.
