FBI Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) Todd Renner leads a team of investigators focused on imposing risk and consequences on nation state cyber actors (APT) and a team pursuing international financially-motivated cyber criminals.
Prior to his promotion to the Atlanta Field Office, SSA Renner was the FBI Assistant Legal Attaché (ALAT) in London, England, integrated with United Kingdom and Irish authorities, investigating complex international counterintelligence and computer intrusion activities.
SSA Renner served in a joint duty assignment as the FBI’s representative to NSA. SSA Renner was promoted to the role in FBI Headquarters Cyber Division Technical Operations Unit (TOU) and Operational Technology Division Remote Operations Unit (ROU). In this role, SSA Renner developed and implemented sophisticated intelligence generating opportunities for the U.S. Government.
Special Agent Renner served as a Case Agent, forensic examiner and SWAT Operator in multiple field offices within the United States.
SSA Renner was selected as a member of the FBI’s Computer Intrusion Response team and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Business Administration.
