Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney, Major Crimes Division, Civil Forfeiture Unit
Grant Rood is a native Atlantan and obtained Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science from the University of Georgia. He thereafter worked overseas before returning to Georgia and obtaining his Juris Doctor degree from Emory University. Grant has served the State of Georgia as a prosecutor in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office for the past five years. Before joining the Civil Forfeiture Unit, Grant was assigned to the Major Case Unit where he prosecuted and handled some of the county’s most complicated homicide and murder cases. A proud resident of Fulton County, Grant now serves the State of Georgia, Fulton County, and its citizens in the Civil Forfeiture Unit.
