Fulton County Accountability Courts, in partnership with the Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities, will host the second annual “Rebound for Recovery” 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Welcome All Park.

The Fulton County Continuum of Care Board and Membership will meet in person on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 10 a.m. to Noon to receive updates and discuss other business. Citizens wishing to participate can do so in person or virtual. The meeting will take place at the Mechanicsville Library.

Fulton County’s Fulton Fresh Mobile Market is preparing to welcome the fall season with some fresh fruits and vegetables. The mobile market is gearing up to hit the road to offer good nutrition and education to residents around the county.

Starting this year, Tax Year 2025, Fulton County will bill and collect property taxes for the City of Union City and the portion of the City of Palmetto that lies within Fulton County.

Tuesday, September 16, 2025, is National Voter Registration Day, and Fulton County is celebrating by hitting the road. The Voter Education Outreach unit in Elections will spend the day encouraging voter participation and increasing public awareness about state requirements for voting.

Advance voting dates for the September 23, 2025, Senate District 21 Runoff Election have been set. Voters will be able to cast their ballots early from Saturday, September 13 through Friday, September 19, 2025.

Fulton County District 4 residents are invited to join Commissioner Mo Ivory for two upcoming in-person Town Hall Meetings, “Mo Knows: Come and Talk to Me.” Commissioner Ivory will host open sessions where residents can ask questions or share input about any Fulton County program or service.

Fulton County is proclaiming September as “Recovery Month” to increase awareness and understanding of mental health and substance use disorders. Across the country, National Recovery Month is observed every September to recognize and address the personal challenges associated with addiction and its harmful impacts.

The Fulton County Department of Community Development is partnering with 21st Century Leaders, Georgia’s premier youth leadership and non-profit organization, to connect, transform, and inspire high school students from diverse backgrounds in Fulton County to become the next generation of leaders.

Fulton County residents now have access to the 2045 Comprehensive Plan. The document, which serves as a community blueprint regarding the county’s future outlines the projects and resources available throughout the county.
