Kelcee Jones-Connor

Kelcee Jones-Connor is an accomplished attorney with years of experience in the public and private sectors of the legal field. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was heavily involved with the Advocacy Programs that she still volunteers with today. Prior to law school, Ms. Jones-Connor graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a concentration in Social Justice Analysis.

Ms. Jones-Connor has served as a prosecutor with the Fulton County District Attorney's Office since May of 2018. In this role, she has served as lead counsel on high-stakes cases, including homicide, serial offender, sexual assault, and other violent felonies.

Before her tenure at the Fulton County District Attorney's Office, Ms. Jones-Connor worked as a Litigation Manager at UnitedLex Corporation, where she oversaw the recruitment and development of project attorney teams, on and offshore, for Fortune 500 clients. Ms. Jones-Connor has delivered Continuing Legal Education sessions on various privacy data-related topics, including "Legal Ethics and Navigating Social Media" and "Possession, Control, or Custody: The Obligation to Produce."

Ms. Jones-Connor is a proud member of the Georgia Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force, NAACP, the National Council of Negro Women, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She has also been recognized for her contributions to District Attorney’s Office with various awards, including the Terrell Williams Angel Award and the Major Crimes Platinum Award.

Ms. Jones-Connor has happily served the Fulton County community at every level of the District Attorney’s Office, from Case Intake to the Complex Trial Division, the Special Victim’s Division including the Crimes Against Children Unit, the Human Trafficking, and Internet Child Exploitation Unit, and ultimately the Major Case Unit before assuming the role of Deputy District Attorney.
